Artist Statement
I first discovered the thrill of creating when my grade school teacher told me she loved my crayon drawing of a tree. But, it wasn't until years later that my son redirected me towards my forgotten passion. So I set my goal towards the arts and received a BFA from Kean University.
I currently live in Pawleys Island, South Carolina with my husband Rick and three furry friends, Bella, Lulu and ChiChi.
Although, pastel is my preferred medium because of it's versatility, direct approach, and richness of color, I continue to explore all mediums...the fun is in the adventure and exploration of learning something new.
